weight loss and combinations

Good holidayweekend Saturday morning....it is staying darker later and later into the morning.....ugh

We are so used to ordering food sources in combinations..."burger AND fries"...macaroni AND cheese"...apple pie AND ice cream"...peanut butter AND jelly"

One of the ways we can change our habits to improve our chances at long ternm weight loss success is to assess the combination choices we make. Many restaurants are very accomodating when you request some other choice than the usual combination....substitute a sald for those fries....order a vegetable insteasd of pasta in the "meatballs AND spaghetti"...

Small changes as recommended over time will result in a difference.....

Since this is Labor Day week-end we will be doing labor around the house, finish staining the deck, painting a room, cleaning windows, and doing yard work. No wild parties or huge events planned here. But it will still be a great holiday since we won't be traveling on the highways and that is just fine with me. Love being home.
