Happy Holiday

I wish all of you the very best of health and happiness.

What does a Jewish doctor do on Christmas morning? 1-Look for Christmas movies on television 2- Take Tanner the dog out to Burke Lake Park for a run 3-see a movie at the theatre 4-just had to attend to a patient with a bad sore throat 5-try very hard not to write anything about losing weight on a holiday that is meant for everyone to enjoy the love of their families and not worry about calories for one day....

i will get back being a pain tomorrow!!! laughing...have a great one!

For sure we will enjoy the day, but think a little about all the calories that are in front of us. For our family, the holiday goes on and on...this morning was spent at our daughter' house for brunch with about 20 people. The main attraction was the egg (McMuffin style) sandwiches...(I brought the fruit tray). Then later today everyone will arrive at our house for dinner and gift exchange. I have prepared a "salad bar" style meal. Lots of cut up veggies and steak hot off the grill for the topper. Have prepared a few other items for the anti-salad people! Of course, there will be dessert..I figure it's allowed (in moderation), right?
I did use the idea about planning ahead and doing several protein days before today...it works great and I now can enjoy the day without fear of the scale tomorrow morning.
Hope it's a great day for everyone.
