Obvious vs. non-obvious saboteurs

I hope everyone's mother's day was relaxing and fun....

When we think of food sources that can sabotage your weight loss efforts, the "obvious" things are candies, chocolates, desserts, ice cream, etc. These food sources basically jump out at us and shout: "I will DESTROY your weight loss efforts". (I guess that is if foods could speak)

However, there are other food items that are wolves in sheep's clothing...for instance that healthy glass of cranberry juice in the morning...or that yogurt parfait from Mc Donalds with the nuts...or the one glass of white wine...or the hand full of almonds...these sources of food and drink are not as blatantly sabotaging as the Reeces pieces, but in their own way, in the aggregate, they can derail your weight loss efforts.

Take stock of the types of fluids you ingest, the snacks that you are doing, and ensure that you are not consumming more calories than you thought you were.
